Fragility is generally used to describe an object that is easily broken or damaged, when describing a person, it means that the person is weak and unhealthy. It is a common misconception for people to think that solidity is the opposite to fragility. Indeed, the concept Anti-fragile suggested by Taleb (2012) is a better concept to converse fragility. When solidity simply means an object would not be easily broken when repressed by tension, Antifragile teaches us that besides preventing from injuries, we should also be able to survive and even gain extra benefits from the injuries and made us even stronger than before.
Established in 2021, Anti Fragile Hong Kong (AFHK) focuses on tackling patients’ pain problems caused by muscle imbalance. Our rehab specialists tailor one-on-one consultation and treatments for customers to relieve tension of the tightened muscle, as well as strengthening the damaged and/or fragile muscles. In partnership with Osteopath, our programme starts with skeletal realignment and/or muscular restructuring treatment, continues with trainings and stretching designated for rebalancing muscle strength and endurance, and ends with a satisfying result – painless healthy body.
